| How do you use the image in Altech CSV price list? |
The last field in our CSV file has a reference to the product image located on our website. Some products actually have more than one image referenced in the CSV file, seperated by commas. Any of these images can be used, while the trailing comma needs to be stripped in the following instructions.
Also, the CSV file is actually delimited by the vertical bar "|" character, not the comma, as commas are used extensively in the data such as descriptions, etc.
We encourage our resellers who put our products up on their websites to link to this image using the following rules to get the full URL;
- start with http://www.altech.com.au/images/products/ as the root of the URL
- as the images are stored in seperate directories, you need to work out which directory they are in. This is determined by taking the image number and using the following rules to get the directory to append to the above root URL;
0 to 999 = "00000/"
1000 to 1999 = "00001/"
2000 to 2999 = "00002/"
3000 to 3999 = "00003/"
4000 to 4999 = "00004/"
5000 to 5999 = "00005/"
...
20000 to 29999 = "000020/"
- then append the image number to the growing URL and simply append ".jpg" to complete the URL.
IE in the case of the mbAB-AA8XE-F ABIT Fatal1ty AA8XE Motherboard, the image reference is 2216, so the URL will be;
http://misc.altech.com.au/images/products_cache/00002/2216.jpg
and in the case of the mbAB-IS10-V2 ABIT Motherboard, there are two image references, 1937 and 2887, so the URLs will be;
http://www.altech.com.au/images/products_cache/00001/1937.jpg
or http://misc.altech.com.au/images/products_cache/00002/2887.jpg

| What can you do if you have problem to browse the Altech website? |
1 Make sure that your internet is working. To test your internet, please browse www.google.com.au on your browser.
2 If you see the error message while you are browsing the site. Please take down the error message. Close the browser and reopen it again. Try to browse the Altech website.
3 You can also visit the page you have problem to browse on Altech website. Hold the Control key on your key board and press F5 key once to force reload the page. This helps to reload the stylesheet, html and javascript.
4 Email to webmaster@altech.com.au. Please provide your login email, contact person, contact phone number and issue details in the email.

| What should you do for an Invalid Username or Password? |
Please go to Password Reminder http://www.altech.com.au/forgotpassword.aspx.
Type in the login email address and click Retrieve Password button.
A random password will be emailed to your login email address. The website will get you to set your own password while you are logging in using the random password.
Please wait for 15 minutes for the login account to be active if your login has just been created by your Altech Account manager.
Contact your Account Manager for further assistance if you still have problems.

| Can I download the csv file without logging into the dealer zone ? |
| Yes, the hyperlink for the dealer price lists are in csv format which can be used outside of the Altech dealer zone. To get the URL for the dealer price lists, logon onto the Altech dealer zone, right click on "Dealer Price List csv file" and select "copy shortcut" and paste this into a new IE window. |
